Women's and Children's Health
Memorial’s Women’s and Children's Health program offers services to meet the physical, emotional and mental health needs of women at every stage of life.
At Providence Santa Rosa Memorial, we understand that women’s health is more than just a medical specialty. It is a holistic approach that encompasses our patients’ physical, emotional and mental well-being. Our team of board-certified obstetrician/gynecologists and certified nurse midwives work together to provide comprehensive health care for all women. Our providers share the common goal of providing compassionate, evidenced-based care that values your special needs. From the low-risk to the most complex, our OB/GYN team provides everyone with a personalized approach to their care.
Our vision is to provide comprehensive and holistic health care for women of all ages and backgrounds. We aim to empower women to achieve their optimal physical, mental and emotional well-being through evidence-based, culturally sensitive and patient-centered services. We believe that every woman deserves access to quality and affordable health care that meets her unique needs and preferences.

Women's Wellness
Our patients receive complete preventive care through well-woman exams and family planning services, including fertility support, while addressing overall wellness through behavioral health counseling and lifestyle programs that include nutrition guidance, weight management, smoking cessation and stress reduction techniques.
Three Generations Give Back
The Hansel Family of Santa Rosa regards giving back as one of their core values. The warmth, hospitality and ease with which Marilyn Hansel and her daughters—Heather, Heidi and Kelly—speak about their beliefs make it apparent that a commitment to caring for our community is a way of life.
The family members are strong advocates for Memorial Hospital because of our commitment to providing excellent health care for everyone who needs it. For three generations, Memorial has played a central role in the Hansels’ lives. Births, deaths, emergencies, surgeries and hospice care—the medical events that inevitably mark all our lives, have taken place at Memorial for the Hansel family. Two of the Hansels’ four children were born at Memorial, and Heidi, Kelly and Justin, their son, all had their children here as well.
